Dr Jane Davies

Dr Jane Davies is an NHMRC clinical research fellow at the Menzies School of Health Research and an Infectious Diseases and General Medicine physician at the Royal Darwin Hospital. Dr Davies has an extensive clinical background in these areas including working in and with communities in Tanzania, Malawi, England and the Northern Territory, Australia. She recently completed her PhD “Hepatitis B in the Northern Territory of Australia: Understanding the true story” which included molecular and clinical epidemiology as well as participatory action research. Dr Davies’s post doc research remains focused on improving the understanding and clinical care for people living with chronic hepatitis B in northern Australia. Alongside this she works in the infectious diseases and general medicine clinical service at Royal Darwin Hospital.
