Dr. Sradha Kotwal

Dr Kotwal (BhB, MBChB, FRACP, Grad Dip (Clin Epi), PhD) is a nephrologist at Prince of Wales Hospital in Sydney Australia and a post-doctoral research fellow at the George Institute of Global Health. Dr Kotwal completed her clinical training in 2010 and enrolled in a PhD programme funded by a NHMRC post graduate medical scholarship. She has an in-depth understanding of the processes and procedures required for appropriate access to such datasets in a way that protects patient privacy and confidentiality. She also has a track record of collaboration with national and international research leaders and institutions. Dr Kotwal is currently involved in the Reducing the burden of dialysis access complications (REDUCCTION) project which is a nationwide evidence implementation project in addition to a other projects using linked health data.
