Gopi Rangan

Gopi is Senior Staff Nephrologist at Westmead Hospital (Western Renal Service) and Associate Professor (Conjoint) at the Westmead Institute for Medical Research. His main research focus is in polycystic kidney disease (PKD). He is a member of the Westmead PKD Group (see picture), principal investigator of the PREVENT-ADPKD study (a multi-centre Australian RCT), contributor to the SONG-PKD program and undertakes other related clinical and preclinical research in PKD.


The ASM is hosted by Australian and New Zealand Society of Nephrology.

The aims of the Society are to promote and support the study of the kidney and urinary tract in health and disease, and to ensure the highest professional standards for the practice of nephrology in Australia and New Zealand.
