Judy Savige, FRCP FRACP FRCPA PhD M Sc MBA, was appointed University of Melbourne Foundation Professor of Medicine at Northern Health in 2003. She is currently Professor in the Department of Medicine at Melbourne Health. She undertook her PhD in London on Goodpasture syndrome and a post-doc at the Florey on the molecular genetics of Alport syndrome (which lacks the Goodpasture antigen). Judy has worked on renal genetics for 25 years. She was awarded the RACP College medal in 2018 for her work coordinating the RACP lecture programme for 20 years and she is currently Chair of the Committee of Chairs of Medical Colleges in Victoria.
