Where do I pay for my ANZSN membership?
To join up or renew your ANZSN membership visit the ANZSN website. We will cross-check your membership status when you register for the conference.
Can I apply for the International Concession conference rate?
Attendees who reside in Low Income Countries and Lower Middle Income Countries in the Asia-Pacific region (Korea, Dem. People’s Rep., Bangladesh, Cambodia, Indonesia, Kiribati, Lao PDR, Micronesia, Fed. Sts., Mongolia, Myanmar, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Solomon Islands, Pacific Island states, Timor-Leste, Vanuatu, Vietnam, Bhutan, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka) can apply for the Intentional Concession rate.
When do early bird registrations close?
Early registration closes 8 July 2020.
Are there any Travel Grants or Bursaries available for conference delegates?
The ANZSN conference doesn’t have any funding available to support the attendance of delegates.

Dress throughout the conference is neat casual. Dress for each function is indicated in the function description.
The registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. Participants are advised to take out personal insurance, including cover for travel, accommodation and personal possessions. Neither the Organising Committee or Conference Design Pty Ltd covers individuals against the cancellations of bookings for any reason including cancellation or postponement of the conference or for theft or damage to belongings.
Name badges will be issued when registering at the conference. For security purposes the conference name badge must be worn at all times during the conference and social functions.
Onsite parking adjacent to the Hotel Grand Chancellor, starts from $6.00 per vehicle per day, subject to availability.

Getting to the Hotel Grand Chancellor Hobart
From Hobart Airport to the Hotel Grand Chancellor by car will take around 16 minutes (depending on route taken). There is also a bus stop located behind the Hotel Grand Chancellor on Macquarie Street.
The App will be updated regularly and will be your most reliable source of information throughout the conference. The app enables delegates to explore the program, upload their photo, ask questions in sessions, connect with others and much more.
Conference Design Pty Ltd will gather and record personal information necessary for your attendance at the Conference. Personal information will be gathered, stored and disseminated in accordance with the National Privacy Principles
The conference and social functions are non-smoking.

Please note any special requirements, for example dietary or mobility, when registering for the conference. All special requirements will be forwarded to the venue. For pre-arranged special dietary requirements please make yourself known to the waiting staff at all functions.
As the conference is being held during the end of winter and the beginning of spring, we recommend bringing some warmer clothes as the cold weather may be hanging around.
International airports and major hotels provide money-changing facilities. Banks are generally open from Monday to Friday from 9.00am – 5.00pm. Automatic Teller Machines (ATMs) are widely available.
Major credit cards, particularly VISA and Mastercards, are widely accepted.
All prices quoted are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST.
Australian electricity supply is 240V, 50Hz. The connection for appliances is a flat 3-pin plug.
English is the official language of the Conference. Translation services are not provided.
Under Australia’s universal visa system, all visitors to Australia must have a valid visa to travel to and enter Australia (other than New Zealand passport holders who will normally be granted a Special Category visa on arrival, provided they meet health and character requirements; and permanent residents of Norfolk Island who may be granted a Permanent Resident of Norfolk Island visa on arrival).
These international delegates must obtain a Visa or Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) before travelling to Australia. The most common Visa for conference attendees and presenters is the Visitor visa [eVisitor, ETA or Visitor (Subclass 600) visa] in the business stream.
