This is an example ePoster template only. You can add/move text boxes, figures and tables or change the graphics as you wish.

This video must not exceed 3 minutes in total and should be provided to the conference secretariat in MP4 format by the 19th October via the following link.

The video should consist of a brief overview and explanation of the ePoster content with the visual aid of your single-page ePoster. Just like if you were explaining your poster to a delegate onsite at a conference. The video should be of your ePoster single page slide with your voice over, but try to include your face as much as possible for that ‘human’ element.

You can record your video using whichever software you feel most comfortable with. If you have little experience recording videos, visit the Technical Information for further instructions.

Presenting your ePoster

An ePoster is a visual medium that you use to communicate a key idea related to your research. It presents that idea in a verbal and graphic way. Unlike a purely oral presentation, a poster does (most) of your talking – but the great thing about the OnAIR portal is your poster will can be enhanced by an on-demand recorded presentation element.  Plus on the platform it can gain more exposure and reach a greater audience than never before!

There are several advantages to presenting a poster:

  • The ePosters format is built to be a presentation similar to a poster presentation at a face to face meeting.
  • Posters can be viewed at any time. Your ePoster will be available for viewing throughout the ASM in the dedicated Poster Gallery in addition to being live one week prior and 3 weeks after!
  • Viewers can “absorb” the presentation in their own time/way.
  • You will have the ability to not only share with viewers your poster but put together a short 3 min presentation to present the findings/research that was captured on your poster verbally.

Electronic posters (ePosters) will be available for viewing for the duration of the ASM in the Poster Gallery. ePosters will also be made available to be viewed 1 week prior to the ASM and 3 weeks after the ASM in the online platform.

The layout of your ePoster is at your discretion, however, brevity and clarity are the essence of a good ePoster. The aim of ePosters is to display your project or an idea in a concise form, enabling delegates to grasp the essentials of the subject in a short time frame.
