Dr Emily See is a Critical Care Nephrologist at Austin Health and the Royal Melbourne Hospital and a Senior Clinical Lecturer in the Department of Critical Care, University of Melbourne. She holds a Master of Medical Statistics degree from the University of Oxford and is completing a PhD examining the long-term sequelae of acute kidney injury at the University of Melbourne. Her clinical and research interests centre around acute kidney injury, continuous renal replacement therapy, and care of the critically ill transplant or dialysis patient. She has published more than 35 peer-reviewed manuscripts, authored 4 textbook chapters, and received 6 national and international awards for clinical and basic science research. She is a member of the Australian and New Zealand Intensive Care Society Clinical Trials Group Committee, the Caring for Australasians with Renal Impairment Guidelines Steering Committee, the Australia and New Zealand Dialysis and Transplant Registry Haemodialysis Working Group, and the Quality Indicators and Registries Sub-Committee of the Australia and New Zealand Society of Nephrology.
